In the Vancouver area, there are a couple areas that open up on the 1st of August and the the majority of the remaining areas open on September 1st to 2 chinook salmon per day. From our Sidney location, most areas open on August 1st to one chinook per day under 80cm. There is also a couple areas in reach for retention between July 15th and July 31st.So long of the short is there are opportunities commencing soon! If you would like to target chinook from Vancouver, 10 hour trips are the way to go. In August, there will be a bit of local opportunity on our 5 hour trips out of Vancouver and good opportunity on our 5 hour trips out of our Sidney location.
