Office Cordinator/Dockhand
Job Description: Bon Chovy is looking for a responsible individual to support our Vancouver Fishing Charter operation in our charter shop and on our dock.Seasonal: May 15th to late Summer 2025 - can be flexible on start time and end time for the right candidate
About Us: Since 2006, Bon Chovy Fishing Charters has been one of the premier sport fishing operations in British Columbia. We operate a modern fleet of Grady White Sport Fishing vessels. Our charters operate year round from our Vancouver Charter base on Granville Island. Our office is the heart of our operations, serving as the primary meeting point for our clients as well as operating as a retail store.
About the Role: You will work independently to manage the day to day operations of our retail shop and help out on our charter fishing dock. You will maintain an open line of communication with our charter captains and management team to provide land-based support where needed. Some of the responsibilities for this role include.
- Invoicing and Payment: You will help coordinate payment from clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Sales: When applicable you will offer potential clients more information on our charter services and answer any questions they may have during the booking process.
- Office Maintenance: You will maintain a clean and organized charter office. This includes, sweeping, taking out the garbage, and keeping the inventory shelves fully stocked.
- Charter Support: Help our charter guests and captains when needed to ensure a premium customer experience at Bon Chovy.
- Dock Support: Help maintain a clean and professional dock space. Restock necessary equipment and supplies when needed.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of the team
