The fall rains have started and we have now switched gears to targeting winter chinook salmon in Vancouver, the Southern Gulf Island's and Sidney. Looking back at August and September, we were happy with the fishing, with good numbers of chinook around as well as lots of pinks and some coho. During September, we saw some very large fish off the Fraser River Mouth with more fish over 30 pounds landed than we have seen in recent years

We have enjoyed one of the most consistent summer fishing seasons in years. The summer started with consistent, extended waves of coho salmon, followed by waves of pink salmon and some big pulses of nice chinook salmon! As we move into September, this is when many anglers get excited as the Fraser River Mouth opens up for chinook salmon!

Sidney Salmon Fishing has been good so far in August. We have been busy on charters with a good mix of chinook salmon and pink salmon and even the odd coho salmon. We are looking foward to September as more coho and the odd chinook move into local waters!

Coho salmon have arrived in local Vancouver waters. We have been seeing decent action on our Vancouver Salmon Fishing Charters! Summer is here, give us a call to get out on the water.
